The first Soccerstarts stages encourage parents to 100% fully participate alongside their child which has massive benefits for your childs skill development as well as for your relationship with your child as these classes are encouraging play and an active lifestyle as well as coaching your child basics of football. These classes use various pieces of equipment and small footballs to help engage your child in the session.
The sessions aims are to introduce your child to football related activity and start working on loads of fun practise on football related skills. As well as improving co-ordination, footballing and social skills these sessions will help your childs numbers and language skills as they will be talking to their parent throughout the session and after the session about activities they are partaking in. These sessions will also help improve your childs confidence being in an environment with other children.
Children who are socially ready to move up to stage 2 will be encouraged to move up at approximately 3 years old but as children develop socially and enjoy play differently the top end of the stage 2 classes are open ended age wise to suit your child.
All of the activities involve the child being partnered by their adult within stages 1 so that quality of repetitions is quick and quality of feed to child is off top quality as its from an adult rather than a child so results in your child receiving more practise within a session.

£28.00 per month
This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: Subscription/ Membership information:
- Our classes will run for 40 weeks across the 2026 calendar year. This means there will be 12 weekends (spread across the year) we will not run classes. We don’t run to school terms we run based on venue and coach availability and run sessions in every month of the calendar year.
Your monthly payment of £28 is calculated by splitting the overall annual cost of coaching for your child (40 weeks @ £8.40 a session) over 12 equal payments which then results in a £28 per month membership fee. Your child will be auto-enrolled onto our registers every month in a rolling-contract manner. Membership fees are paid on the 1st of every month.
If you join mid-month or trial expires mid-month, we may add a pro-rata’d covering payment to your first month's payment as a member. This will be to cover sessions delivered before the 1st of the month post trial . Consideration will also be given to the point of year you have joined as a member as well as date you joined and when you completed your trial period before covering payment is added.
Reminder of subscription cancellation process
To cancel a subscription, you will need to email b.robertson@soccerstarts.co.uk with your child’s name, venue and time attended and reason for cancelling your subscription.. Soccerstarts will respond to your cancellation request with clarity on any payments due (if any) and when your last session with us will be (for your child).
No other methods of cancellation will be accepted as email provides proof of contact for both parties so is the best method for all concerned.
Cancellation email requests must be received 14 days before the next payment is taken (example 16th October notice sent or before to give up space for November), otherwise payment will be taken for following months membership and the cancellation will be processed the following month. You are welcome to attend any sessions as advised during your notice period.
Please be aware no refunds will be given if you choose not to attend the classes during any notice period. Banks are unable to cancel payments cancellations must be completed as per the above process.
