Terms & Conditions


Parents expected to fully participate in all sessions for under 3s and participate as advised by the coach to support your Childs learning in classes for 3-5 year (generally 50% of the class is parent and child participation together and 50% child encouraged to take part on their own with parent cheering on from the side).

Any parent who attends soccerstarts must agree not to set up in competition with a similar training programme as part of signing up their child to Soccerstarts sessions either as the manager/ business owner or coach or indirectly ie working as a coach or advisor for a similar provider. This agreement is in place for 5 years after your child attended their last session with Soccerstarts Football Academy.

Parents must also give notice in writing via email if they would wish cancel their child's space in Soccerstarts Football Academy to b.robertson@soccerstarts.co.uk and 14 days before next payment is due or you will be charged for the next payment due as your child is auto-enrolled unless above notice is given.

Parents who take a 4 week introductory trial period must communicate with Soccerstarts Football Academy to confirm they want to continue past this period regardless of whether you continue or leave after this period.

I understand that photos may be taken within the sessions for promotional purposes and that If I don't want my child in any photos I should email my request to Soccerstarts Football Academy otherwise consent has been given via agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Payment for regular members is £25 a month as a membership fee for a space on our registers. Payment is charged for on the 1st of the month and covers the month that follows. For the £25 a month membership fee Soccerstarts Football Academy plan to run 44 classes across January-December 2022.

If your initial 4 week trial period finishes midway through a month then a covering charge will be added to your 1st payment scheduled as a member to cover any sessions delivered between the end of your trial and 1st scheduled payment date as a member. This then ensures that your payment schedule is aligned with all other regular members.

Soccerstarts Football Academy do not run classes in line with school terms at our weekend venues. Our classes run dependent on coach availability, venue availability and any coach education commitments.

However some of the weekends we do not run classes may fall in line with some school holiday dates/ weeks as I have 2 school aged children. We on occasion may also use a alternative local indoor or outdoor venue if our regular venue is unavailable for reasons outwith our control.

Lastly sessions cannot always be guaranteed to run at our normal venue every week of the year due to one off tournaments or events or circumstances outwith our control that require us to move to a nearby venue for a one off week. However we will aim to run at another local venue in these instances (which are rare) this may also result in a slight change of time to sessions dependent on availability of the other venue.

Refunds will not be provided for being unable to attend at these sessions if a venue can be sourced at local suitable venue at a similar time slot to your usual classes.

To cancel a space on the registers, you will need to email b.robertson@soccerstarts.co.uk with your childs name, venue and time attended and reason for cancelling your space and can continue to attend sessions for the rest of the last month paid for in advance.

Other methods of cancellation will not be accepted as email provides proof of contact for both parties so is the best method for all concerned as mentioned above to give 14 days before the next date payment is due so your place can be filled with another child on the waiting list.
